Speak Up for Change: Join Bank’s Stress Survey Today

Stress has become one of the most silent yet serious threats to officers in our banking environment. Long working hours, relentless business targets, conflicting instructions, demanding customers, and above all, the fear of vindictive transfers or disciplinary action are taking a heavy toll on our mental and physical well-being.

Many officers are under pressure, and in some regions, fear of transfers is even being misused to push unethical business practices. Such an environment not only harms individuals but also risks compliance failures and damages the institution’s integrity.

The bank has launched an internal Stress Survey. This should not be just another routine form. It should be a critical step towards understanding the genuine stress factors officers face every day.

  • The survey is entirely confidential.
  • It allows officers to share honest feedback about their stress levels and the causes behind them.
  • The larger the participation, the clearer the picture for management to act meaningfully.

Unchecked stress affects judgment, decision-making, and ultimately the quality of our work. It can erode systems, push officers into shortcuts, and create a culture where unhealthy practices become the norm. We cannot afford to let that happen.

This survey is an opportunity for us to demand a healthier, fairer, and more humane workplace. If analysed sincerely and backed by action, it can help dismantle the toxic work culture of fear and bring lasting improvement to our working conditions — and to the way we serve our customers.

Take a few minutes. Reflect. Respond truthfully.

All our officers are requested to share the message to reach each and every officer and encourage them to participate and give their genuine feedback.
