On 22nd January, the State Office Bearers of UFBU, representing all constituent unions, jointly addressed a press meet at the Press Club, Thiruvananthapuram, to apprise the public and stakeholders about the growing concerns of the banking workforce and the imminent All India Strike.

The press release has already been circulated, and the media has been specifically requested to provide wide and prominent coverage to the strike and the entire gamut of organisational actions connected with it. Special emphasis was placed on presenting a clear and substantive narrative on the necessity of five-day banking, highlighting how it is crucial for the well-being, efficiency, and dignity of bank employees, without compromising customer service.

We call upon all members to remain vigilant, united, and fully prepared to actively participate in the forthcoming organisational actions.
