Dear Officer Comrades,

You are aware that the Bank has commenced reimbursement of perquisite tax liability for the financial year 2025–26, and the first instalment has already been credited to many officers’ accounts.

However, many comrades had requested extension of the last date for submission of mandate. Accordingly, the issue was taken up and represented with Central Office HR.

Subsequently, vide Staff Circular No. 102056 dated 06.04.2026, it is informed that the last date for submission of mandate for absorption of perquisite tax has been extended till 07.04.2026. This extension has been granted considering the difficulties faced by employees due to year-end constraints.

Further, clarification obtained indicates that cases where the tax amount is not tallying on a month-to-month basis are under reconciliation at the Central Office, and such amounts will be credited shortly upon completion of the process.

Officers are requested to take note and ensure submission of mandate within the extended timeline, wherever pending.
