Welfare Loans to Members

UBOA (Kerala State) extends welfare loans to its members in times of urgent financial need—be it for personal, medical, or other essential purposes. Members can avail loans up to ₹50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only), repayable in 22 convenient monthly instalments.

Financial Assistance to Members

Through the UBOA (Kerala State) Welfare Fund, the Association extended timely financial assistance to 25 members facing hardship due to perquisite tax deductions. Each eligible member received an interest-free assistance of ₹45,000 (Rupees Forty-Five Thousand Only). The total disbursement under this initiative amounted to ₹11,25,000 (Rupees Eleven Lakhs Twenty-Five Thousand Only). The amount is repayable in three monthly instalments, commencing from May 2025.

Repayment of Contribution to retirees

A monthly contribution is collected from each member through salary deduction as part of their commitment to the Association. This amount is refundable upon retirement, subject to a formal request by the member.

Financial Support for bereaved family members

The Association extends financial assistance to the dependents of members who have sadly passed away, as a gesture of solidarity and support during their time of loss.

Dyuthi Carnival - Cultural and Sports activities

The Association proudly organizes a vibrant array of cultural and sports events each year, serving as a joyful gathering for officer comrades from across the state. These occasions are marked by colour, festivity, and a rich showcase of cultural performances that celebrate our unity and diversity. In addition, the Association conducts annual Cricket and Football tournaments, fostering camaraderie and encouraging athletic talent among our officers. Outstanding players from each discipline are selected to represent the Association in inter-bank tournaments, carrying forward our spirit of excellence and teamwork.

Blood Donation Directory

As part of its ongoing commitment to the welfare of its members, the Union Bank Officers’ Association (Kerala State) has compiled and is actively maintaining a comprehensive Directory of Blood Donors. This directory includes a list of willing donors from across the state and is intended to provide immediate support in times of medical emergencies involving our officers or their family members. The directory is accessible through the respective Regional Secretaries and is centrally coordinated by Com. Abheesh Kumar V, who serves as the single point of contact for all blood donation-related needs. In case of any emergency or requirement, members are encouraged to promptly reach out to him for assistance.
