The window for submission of posting preferences for officers promoted under Promotion Process 2026–27 (MMGS II → MMGS III & JMGS I → MMGS II) is closing today.
🔹 Who must submit preferences?
- Officers promoted under Fast Track and who have completed 3 years in the present Zone as on 30.06.2026
🔹 Who need not apply?
- Officers who have not completed 3 years in the Zone – they will not be transferred as per policy
🔹 Normal Track officers
- May apply only if they wish to change Zone
- However, if 3 years not completed, such requests will not be considered
- Transfer to home zone cannot be exercised here – it must be through request transfer portal
⚠️ Important:
- Non-submission of preference will result in posting as per administrative discretion
- Preferences need not be restricted to COHORT – options outside COHORT can be exercised, subject to vacancy
Submit your preferences on Union Parivar before closure.

- Who is required to submit posting preferences?
Officers promoted under Fast Track who have completed 3 years in their present Zone as on 30.06.2026. - Who should NOT submit preferences?
Officers who have not completed 3 years in the Zone, as they are not liable for transfer under policy. - What happens if I do not submit my preference?
Your posting will be decided by the Bank/Management as per administrative requirements. - Can Normal Track promotees submit preferences?
Yes, only if they wish to change Zone. However, eligibility conditions apply. - I am in Normal Track but have not completed 3 years. Can I apply?
You may apply, but your request will not be considered as per transfer policy. - Can I opt for transfer to my home zone through this process?
No. Home zone transfer must be applied through the Request Transfer Portal only. - If I have completed 3 years and am otherwise eligible, how will my case be treated?
You will be considered under Request Transfer Policy, even if promoted. - Can I opt for zones outside my COHORT?
Yes. There is no restriction to choose only COHORT zones. Allotment will depend on availability of vacancies.
