Only after understanding these, please proceed with updation and submission. To make things easier, we have prepared a detailed FAQ covering all practical doubts 👇

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. Is Biodata Updation really important?

Yes it is extremely important.
Your entire eligibility for transfers, exemptions, and administrative consideration depends on what is recorded in Union Parivar.
If data is not updated → your genuine case may not be recognized.

2. I have a genuine ground (medical / family). Is mentioning it enough?

No. This is very important.

As per the circulars:
👉 Officers seeking exemption under Critical Illness / Family Way must apply in BOTH places:

1. Transfer / Longer Tenure Portal
2. Critical Illness / Family Way Module in Biodata (Union Parivar)

❗ If you submit only in one place, your case may not be considered properly.

3. What documents should I upload?

• All documents must be SELF-ATTESTED
• Proper medical certificates / supporting documents required
• For critical illness: certificates from CMO/DMO / competent authority

3. What grounds should I mention?
   👉 Only mention valid grounds as per Transfer Policy

❗ Do not assume anything
❗ Do not give vague reasons

Ensure your ground clearly falls under:

• Critical illness
• Family way
• Other policy-recognized categories

1. I have a dependent (added in Union Parivar) with disability. What should I do?

👉 Check immediately in Union Parivar:

• Is the dependent added?
• Is disability properly updated?

❗ If not updated → your case may not be considered

✔ Update disability details properly in biodata

6. What if my parents are disabled but NOT dependents?
   👉 You should:

• Apply in portal (transfer request)
• Also apply under Critical Illness module

📌 Important:

• UDID Card is compulsory
• Disability must be permanent

👉 Such cases can be taken up with CO HR based on proper records

7. Why is Marital Status important?

👉 Very crucial for Single Parent criteria

❗ If marital status is wrongly updated or not updated:
➡️ You may lose eligibility for exemption

✔ Ensure marital status is correctly updated in Parivar

8. What happens if I don’t submit the crtical illness / family way module?
   👉 Your:

• Personal grounds
• Medical conditions
• Family details

❗ Will not reflect in system → may affect transfers
