Dear Comrades,

Please recall the representation submitted by AIBOC Kerala to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala seeking the declaration of certain general holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, including Maundy Thursday (2nd April 2026), Muharram, and Third Onam.

We are pleased to inform you that the State Government has now issued the Gazette Notification, and Maundy Thursday has been declared as a holiday. This is a positive outcome.

We shall continue our efforts to ensure parity with Government Offices for the remaining dates as well, and will pursue the matter further.

The Gazette Notification is enclosed herewith for the reference of all comrades.
