We draw your immediate attention to the AIBOC Central Circular No. 2026/23 dated 20.03.2026, issued pursuant to the UFBU decision to launch agitational programmes against the unilateral and divisive implementation of the revised PLI scheme for Scale IV and above officers .
As clearly brought out by our Apex Body, the move by DFS to alter the existing PLI framework, arrived at through bipartite settlement, strikes at the very foundation of collective unity and introduces artificial disparities within the banking fraternity. This is nothing but a calculated attempt to fragment the workforce and weaken our collective strength.
Comrades, the moment calls for resolute unity and disciplined action. We must rise together to demonstrate that the banking community stands united against any such divisive measures.
In line with the directives of UFBU and AIBOC, all affiliates are requested to immediately percolate the message to the grassroot level and ensure meticulous implementation of the agitational programme, despite the short notice.
Programme of Action:
1. Wearing of Black Badges by all officers and employees from 21.03.2026
2. Work strictly as per rules and procedures and withdraw all extra cooperation
3. Strict adherence to regular working hours
4. Exit from all official WhatsApp groups
5. Refrain from attending any official functions of the Bank
6. Officers to avoid attending management calls beyond 6:00 PM
7. Remain in full preparedness to respond to a strike call at short notice, in case of further provocation on the PLI issueAll our affiliate leaders are requested to treat this as urgent and of utmost importance.
