This is with reference to the Transfer Policy and the Request Transfer Exercise for the financial year 2026–27.
Several rumours and unverified messages have been circulating on social media regarding the transfer policy and the proposed transfer exercise. We have also recieved queries from officers on this subject. In order to avoid confusion and to provide clarity, this message is being circulated.
Please disregard all rumours and speculative messages being circulated on social media.
👉🏻 The Transfer Policy for 2026–27 is expected to be released within one week.
👉🏻 To conduct the Annual Transfer Exercise the request transfer portal is likely to be opened within two days thereafter.
👉🏻 All officers are requested to remain patient and wait for the official release of the Transfer Policy and the subsequent opening of the portals.
👉🏻Repatriation of officers completing three years is expected to receive priority. Officers awaiting repatriation are requested to remain patient.
👉🏻 Officers who intend to apply for request transfers or exemptions are advised to keep all relevant supporting documents ready.
In particular, those applying transfer / exemptions under compassionate grounds should keep the necessary documents such as:
- Medical records and supporting documents
- UDIID Card, wherever applicable
- Certificates from DMO/CMO or other competent medical authorities
- Any other relevant supporting documents
Officers are requested to ensure that applications are submitted with complete documents immediately after the portal opens, so as to avoid last-minute difficulties or the need to run around to collect documents.
This message is being issued only to provide clarity and prevent unnecessary rumours.
