AIBOC Kerala Stands United Against Violence on Bank Officers

AIBOC Kerala organised a powerful protest demonstration at Kollam condemning the brutal assault on a lady officer of SBI, Kannanalloor Branch. Over 200 officers participated despite adverse weather, sending out a clear message — violence against one banker is an attack on the dignity of all.

The protest, presided over by Com. Biju T, State President, was inaugurated by Com. Mullakkara Ratnakaran, Former Minister for Agriculture, who called for justice, accountability, and stronger protection for officers. Com. Rajesh S, General Secretary, SBIOA (KC), the address address emphasising unity, vigilance, and zero tolerance toward workplace violence.

Com. Ratheesh S, Deputy General Secretary, SBIOA (KC) Kollam Module, reminded the gathering that true strength lies in empathy, mutual respect, and collective responsibility. Com. Aromal S, Regional Secretary, SBSU (KC), addressed and extended their fraternal support.

As a mark of remembrance and resistance, candles were lit by the gathering, illuminating the ground with solidarity and symbolising the collective resolve of the banking fraternity to uphold respect, equality, and safety for all.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Com. Soumya.

Special appreciations to Com. Vishnu Sarath, the newly co-opted District Secretary, whose efforts made this protest a resounding success.

AIBOC Kerala proudly reaffirms its unwavering stand — no attack on a banker will go unanswered.
